Today we’d like to introduce you to Rafael Sierra
Hi Rafael, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Dr. Rafael Sierra was born in Puerto Rico, where he lived most of his life. He went to the University of Puerto Rico and graduated with a major in education, biology and minors in foreign languages. He also served on mission trips to China, Korea, and participated in many events doing charity work in the Island of Puerto Rico. A little later he got certified as a personal trainer and volunteered to train and educate elderly groups on fall prevention.
Then he moved to Marietta GA, to pursue his passion, graduating from Life University with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. During that time he served in the Full Spine Club helping new students to improve their chiropractic technique and skills. Being a chiropractor, Dr. Rafael is able to combine what he likes the most: to educate and to serve. Then he moved to Fort Lauderdale on 2015, This is were We opened PowerSource chiropractic. We have been helping the Fort Lauderdale community for the past 10 years. With the support of our community and hard work we have been able to expand and open 3 locations to serve more people.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Its has not been a smooth road. The first 5 years in practice were very hard. I was starting my career in a new town, going to the real word fresh out of grad school thing I had everything figurate out, I was wrong! I had no experience as a clinician and zero knowledge about running a business. I spent many hours and years learning about business, marketing, going through a mentor, many coaches, trials and errors, and many sleepless nights trying to figure it out. One of the most important things for my was the support of my wife. I had a Vision and goals regarding were I wanted to be. Through all the ups and downs my wife was always there for me to keep me going forward and in mission No matter how hard it was or how much fear I had to go forward.
