Exploring Life & Business with Michelle (LaTigresa) Lores of LaTigresa Fitness Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle (LaTigresa) Lores

Hi Michelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey began under extreme circumstances as a child, where I faced significant trauma that tested my physical, mental, and emotional limits. Surviving those challenges awakened a deep awareness of God’s presence, resilience, and the potential within every person to overcome hardship. Over time, I discovered that my calling was to turn those experiences into a purposeful path—a system designed to help others access the potential within themselves and turn it into power.

Since 2015, I’ve been immersed in developing The Method, a trauma-informed, holistic martial art that goes beyond physical fitness to address every aspect of a person’s being. This approach doesn’t just work on the body; it rewires the mind and taps into the spirit, helping clients achieve systemic optimization and self-mastery. My mission with The Method is to help people reclaim their true character by distinguishing between their adopted nature and their authentic selves, ultimately enabling them to create an empowered, purposeful life.

Each element of The Method—from training in neuroplasticity, concentration and tactical skills to fasting and mind/body activation—equips clients to become the heroes of their own lives, something I wished for when I was younger. I am honored to be able to pass on these principles, tools, and instruction which have not only transformed my life but are now empowering others to build their ultimate reality brick by brick and become more resilient than ever.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been anything but a smooth road. But in many ways, I believe the struggle is what God uses to shapes us. I do not view anything as “good” or “bad” but rather as an opportunity. There is always something I can inject into a moment, extract from that moment and I know how to dispose of the waste.

My journey has been marked by hardship, from surviving extreme childhood trauma to navigating the financial challenges that come with dedicating oneself to a purpose-driven path and all sorts of colorful experiences in between. Each struggle, however, became a part of me that I did translate through The Method—the very program I’ve developed to help others endure, transform, and transcend their pain.

The biggest challenge has been the endurance required to stay committed to this vision and to plant my feet no matter what. Building The Method from the ground up has required relentless dedication, discipline, sacrifice, and a constant willingness to be vulnerable, to grow and to evolve. I’ve faced countless hurdles in bringing this vision to life, but each obstacle has deepened my resilience, grounding me further in the work I do.

For me, it’s all about staying true to my calling and seeing each challenge as a stepping stone in service of something greater than myself. These experiences have reinforced the importance of the Endurance Quotient (EQ): a measure of one’s capacity to endure, adapt, and thrive amidst adversity. It goes beyond physical stamina; it encompasses mental, emotional, and spiritual resilience—the ability to withstand hardship, maintain clarity, and channel struggle into growth. In The Method, EQ is about confronting challenges with purpose, understanding the root causes of our struggles, and transforming them into a source of strength. By increasing EQ, you tap into the power to overcome, redirect, and ultimately redefine the impact of adversity in your life. I now teach this principle that has become the metric by which I measure my clients progress in my SUPERHUMAN program because I’ve lived it. When you understand the underlying cause, you have the power to redirect the effect.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Method is a discipline of reconstruction, designed to transform not just the body, but the entire system of a person’s being. This is not a traditional training program—it’s a journey of discovery and truth. My work focuses on mind/body activation, where physical training becomes a treatment delivered through the body, yet it goes much deeper.

I also take clients through sessions in concentration, mind mapping, and cyclic planning, which offer an experience beyond the ordinary. These practices shift the mind and spirit in ways that are otherworldly, helping clients break through mental barriers and step into The Pocket. In The Pocket there is flow. The Method is unlike anything in the traditional fitness or wellness worlds; it’s a pathway or a portal to self mastery and unlocking the ultimate power within. Power without motion is potential. Potential cannot be measured without action. This training systems draws your true potential out of you.

What sets The Method apart is its foundation in both science and spirituality. With expertise spanning neuroplasticity, positive psychology, tactical training, performance enhancement, Pilates, weight training, combat, rhythm and flow, breath work, and even spiritual fasting, The Method integrates a vast array of disciplines into one transformative approach. Unlike conventional training programs that often isolate the mind from the body, my system focuses on mind-body activation as a single force. This process optimizes every aspect of the individual, defragments their inner system, and ultimately enables them to own their truth.

I’m most proud of the impact The Method has on peoples lives. The results go far beyond aesthetics or physical conditioning—they feel equipped to overcome anything life presents, rooted in confidence, dignity, and purpose. My clients are often individuals who are greatly gifted and who also have deep-seated trauma that limits them. Working with them to unlock their potential, watching them reclaim their lives and achieve results they never thought possible, is incredibly fulfilling.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The quality most essential to my success is humility—a humility rooted in my love, obedience, and reverence for God. He is the reason I do what I do. I can hold this gift in my hands, but it’s like holding water or sand; it flows through me and I am truly gifted but it’s not really mine. I am always looking up to Him, and in doing so, I can stand with confidence and strength, yet remain fully aware that there’s always room for me to grow. Because I look up to God, I don’t look down on anyone. Instead, I use my voice to translate what I know, guiding others from a place of understanding and respect.
