Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Andre
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always had a fascination for films & music videos and was interested on how they were made then I decided to buy my first camera before I bought my first car and that was the best decision I made because it created new opportunities for me that weren’t there before. Once I took filmmaking serious, I’ve seen my own progression as a result of me constantly learning, practicing & not letting rejection affect me. Today I’m able to make a living from it and I plan on growing a community to help others anyway I can.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ve dealt with many challenges along the way like doubting myself, failing numerous times, undervaluing myself and I came to realization that I’m my biggest challenge. I’ve learned to be patient and enjoy the process rather than chasing results. Looking back it hasn’t been easy and it makes me appreciate and value where I am now.
I currently deal with challenges almost everyday and that’s okay because it gives me opportunity to always learn.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in producing creative & story-driven video content for brands and businesses to generate more sales.
I’m most proud of some spec commercials I made for brands such as
“New Balance”, “Beats”, etc.
What sets me apart from others is my persistency and not giving up after countless rejections.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
When people light up once they see my work it means a lot to me because it shows me that I’m doing something right and most importantly is constructive criticism because it helps me improve.
