Life & Work with Noël Worley of West Palm Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noël Worley

Hi Noël, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started making jewelry in high school in Oklahoma City. It wasn’t something that I was amazing at, but I loved doing it. Started my Etsy shop in 2013 while in my 20s, curating gemstone jewelry, vintage clothing, and making accessories on the side. I went into a time of emotional turmoil and for a long period, did not have a creative itch. A decade later, after a journey of growth and self-discovery, I realized the need to step back into it and reconnect with who I truly am – an artist! Now, having spent years in West Palm Beach, I live a life rooted in gratitude, and now I’m thrilled to have rekindled my creative spirit and am eager to share my work with those who appreciate gemstones, creativity, artistry, and a little sparkle.

If you’re interested in custom gemstone jewelry or simply want to connect, feel free to reach out. You can find me on Instagram at @theturquoiseexchangejewelry.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With the rising costs of shipping, labor, and materials, I’ve had to adjust my prices accordingly. This has understandably led some customers to seek more affordable alternatives, which has impacted business. However, as this is a secondary venture for me, I’m fortunate to have the flexibility to find time to create despite the challenges.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I started The Turquoise Exchange as a young 20-something curating mostly turquoise vintage gemstone jewelry and other oddities, but still making small handmade pieces on the side. When I moved to South Florida, it changed the trajectory of my life for the better, and my small jewelry business had not been in the forefront of my mind for quite some time. Knowing my business had gone years without any new sales or creatives, I reopened my shop with a different twist. Just gemstone jewelry – all of my own making! I love offering customization options with all my pieces, giving back to my supporters and adding in extra freebies in each order!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I would say my best and favorite characteristics I feel is most important would be empathy and compassion. I believe what you give you get back and I treat people how I would want to be treated. The golden rule!
