Hi Ashley, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Founded during the unprecedented times of COVID, our picnic company blossomed from a simple birthday celebration for a friend on the beach. This intimate gathering sparked a creative flame and public interest that ignited our passion for outdoor experiences. A week later, we took our first step into the social media world by launching an Instagram account, showcasing our love for beautifully curated picnic setups. To our delight, we received two official bookings within that very first week! During the first couple of months in business, we worked very hard to create influencer events, offered free photo ops, and worked very hard to network getting our name out there.
As bookings began to roll in, so did our passion for decorating and crafting tablescapes. With more business, we were able to perfect our set-ups making sure that we were able to provide themes for everyone’s liking. We do parties of all kinds, we can pretty much customize to match anyone’s aesthetic. We pride ourselves on creating memorable outdoor experiences that adhere to all aesthetics or gatherings. With a background in customer service, we strive to provide an exemplary experience for our clients, ensuring every picnic is not just an event, but a cherished memory.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Although we’ve faced a few challenges with weather, like extreme heat or unexpected rain during setups, our journey as a picnic company has been largely successful. Each obstacle taught us how to adapt quickly, ensuring our clients still had a great experience.We’ve been fortunate to see our bookings steadily grow, and the positive feedback has kept us motivated. Our passion for creating beautiful, memorable picnics has made every hurdle worth it. Overall, it’s been a smooth road, filled with more sunshine than storms.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a small business owner, high school teacher, and girls’ varsity soccer coach, my life is undoubtedly busy, but it’s a balance that brings me immense joy and purpose. Running my picnic company allows me to tap into my creativity and passion for decorating and curating unique outdoor experiences that bring people together. What sets me apart is the personal touch I bring to every aspect of my life. In the classroom, I’m committed to helping students grow, both academically and personally, while on the soccer field, I strive to build confidence and teamwork in my players. Each role I hold feeds into the other, allowing me to stay connected with my community and make a difference in diverse ways. Whether I’m organizing a stunning picnic or mentoring students, my goal is to create meaningful, lasting experiences that leave a positive impact. Balancing these passions may be challenging at times, but it’s the variety and fulfillment from each area of my life that keeps me motivated and grounded. As our reviews can back, our communication with clients is always spoken very highly upon. I think it’s very important to make sure we are communicating effectively with our clients.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Running a picnic business, especially one that began during COVID, has taught us so much about the importance of slowing down and truly appreciating the moments we share with the people we love. The pandemic reminded us all of how precious quality time is—whether it’s with family, friends, or even colleagues. Our picnics aren’t just about creating visually stunning setups, but about providing a space for people to enjoy, laugh, and make lasting memories together.
