Rising Stars: Meet Fedlen Prosper of Fort Lauderdale/ Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fedlen Prosper

Hi Fedlen, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always enjoyed working with people, and cultivating unique experiences. The foundation of The Love Label steams from my background in the hospitality industry. Working as a front desk agent through the Marriott franchise I had no clue what was in store for me. At the time we were strategizing different methods to personalize our guest stay at our hotel. I then established different designs and layouts based on the occasion they were celebrating. Unfortunately due to the spread of COVID 19 the hotel shut down. At a time where the world seemed to be at a pause The Love Label grew quickly. With the help of social media, faith, and consistency we were able to expand our reach to not just locals but tourist as well.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey in totality has been nothing short of a smooth road. The struggles I’ve faced and still face on this journey have been self inflicted. As a room decor artist it’s easy to feel as if your services aren’t as important as other service providers in other industries. However, I’ve learned each client that book us respects and loves my craft with that being said I ought to do the same. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them plan surprises for their loved ones. Although this journey has it’s difficult moments I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Everyday I am constantly reminding myself to fall in love with the process no matter what things may look like currently. The struggles that arise challenge my creativity and for that I am forever grateful.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
The Love Label is a brand created to cultivate and personalize life’s special moments. We aren’t limited to just room decor but we work with our clients to generate long lasting memories. I’d like to say our reputation is what sets us apart from other companies. Providing first class professionalism, customer service, and being dependable is how we create trust with our clients. Every love story is different, we work diligently to ensure each set up is done tailor fit to their journey. I genuinely love what I do, and I believe it shows in my work.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I really enjoy reading and listening to podcast. My favorite podcast include: Earn Your Leisure, Woman Evolve, and The Perrys. These podcast are insightful not only professionally but also provide gems on how to navigate life with balance. Books that I have read that impacted me the most would be The Bible, The Four Agreements, and Atomic Habits. The Bible is the blueprint to what love is which has single handedly kept the Love Label afloat. Utilizing these resources along with others has given me the consistent reminder that it may be challenging but it’s worth it.
