Today we’d like to introduce you to Lovena Sanon-Jules
Hi Lovena, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
A lot of people know me from social media as ‘mochacheri’ the model, but not many know my story. I’m Lovena S. Jules, a young Haitian chasing the American dream. I was born in Haiti, then came to America at the age of 2. Our family first settled in New York, known as the place of dreams, and I truly believe that birthed something inside of me. As a young girl I binge watched Americas Next Top Model & HGTV, so I suppose my chosen career paths were foretelling. I always knew I was meant to be someone. At the age of 9, my parents moved to Miami and put me in modeling and acting school. Simultaneously I was watching them build a small business from the ground up and it lit a desire in me to do my best in whatever I did. As a young creative I took part in neighborhood talent shows and such but my first real break didn’t come until the age of 19. I took a lunch break from work and was discovered at a little cafe in North Miami. The man I met put me into one small music video then I got casted for my first major music video a few months later. I went on to be featured in more music videos, magazines and other publications that allowed me to build a brand within the entertainment industry. As I got older, I felt a desire to pivot and show the world what I had to offer beyond my looks. I have a passion for real estate and architecture and finally decided to get licensed as a real estate agent in 2022. While I am still getting my feet wet in the world of Miami’s luxury real estate market, I plan to make waves soon. I am at one of the top brokerages in Miami Beach and am mentored by the greatest. I know Miami like the back of my hand and as a young minority, I want to help my community to own the blocks that they were raised in. I’ve also started a channel on my instagram recently called ‘a letter from lovena,’ where I share motivational excerpts and wellness tips, I believe in just putting good out into the world and being the positivity you want to see. I have so much more in store, my story is one of creation and it’s still being written.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life is a journey. I’ve had challenges but none that I internalize. I’m also aware that many people may have misconceptions about me due to my appearance and modeling in bikinis but that’s their problem. We’ll shed our physical bodies as we grow old, only our soul progresses.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Currently I am dual-careered. I’m a realtor in South Florida and I’m also a social media influencer. I believe that they do go hand in hand because I want to influence young people to invest in real estate and grow their generational wealth.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Love. I believe Love is the most impactful energy field in the world. I operate in love when I work, when I interact with family and friends and when it’s time for self care.
