Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasia Ward
Hi Anastasia , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I completely did a 360 career change!
I was working as a behavioral therapist for 3 years and also working as a micro influencer on TikTok working with fashion brands and promoting their products and brand. I loved creating content for fashion brands, editing and occasionally posting try on hauls.
My photographer friend introduced me to the idea of becoming an “Event Content Creator” I had absolutely no idea what it entailed or what it had to offer in the wedding business. But, surely later I fell in love with the creativity and being part of someone else’s special day.
I grew up watching wedding movies with my mom, and dreamt of become a bride someday myself. I am now married, and a business owner of Sublime Content. Where I capture BTS, for not only weddings but for any special event.
I love being included in someone’s happiness.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting your own business is never easy, it starts off a little rocky and you’ll have some speed bumps along the road. Trust me I was very inpatient to wanting to build my clientele fast.
But, having a positive mindset and faith has guided me to the right place in my career and business. Believing in yourself and in your capacity to do good things and great things will get you far.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an Event Content Creator who captures natural, unfiltered behind the scenes moments for all things weddings, and other events- all in an IPHONE – delivered the very next day to clients to relive their special day.
I have captured over 25 weddings and many other special events – from taking pictures videos, and being creative on TikTok and IG reels.
My proudest moment for Sublime Content has to be, being nominated for “The Best of South Florida 2024” being nominated amongst many other vendors and business owners in the area has truly been blissful and honorable. Knowing that hard work pays off when you truly put your heart and soul into something you love and want to succeed.
