Today we’d like to introduce you to Yisney Jayussi
Hi Yisney, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Diaspora Multiservices was born as a need to respond to the high demand for immigration services in our community, but first of all to promote education in this area. I first came into the immigration world while completing my immigrant visa application, along with my husband. We didn’t have the money to pay for a lawyer so we had to learn. After that, I got caught, completely fascinated with the laws and regulations and that’s how Diaspora was born.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
When you start a business, you always find obstacles. Thank God so far we are doing pretty well, but the competition is strong in our area so we need to keep working to excel in our field and offer the highest level of service. We pride ourselves on saying that and it has been our wining card since we started.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are an immigration services provider. We have been in the market for a while now. Our scope of services is very wide, we cover most of the common immigration procedures (Adjustment of status, Asylum, Family reunification, K1 Visa, Employment Authorization Document, etc). However, we do not provide legal representation or advice since we are a non-lawyer agency. I’d say we have the client as the center of the process, we want them to be informed of what’s happening and all the procedure details.; they know what exactly is going on with their process. We also like to interact with them, they always meet the owner at any specific stage of the process and we have plenty of channels of communication so they contact us and share any concerns. So far we have more than a hundred reviews on Google and we have been able to keep a 5 starts score, and I believe the key to that is the way we treat the clients and of course the quality of our services.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
You never stop learning. This is a field that is constantly changing, so maybe what you learned while you were at school will no longer be useful in a couple of years.
