Conversations with Cheyenne Paul

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cheyenne Paul

Hi Cheyenne , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in Germany with my mom being from Canada and my dad being from Argentina. I have completed two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in mechanical engineering and the other one in industrial engineering. And I’m currently working on a third bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 2023 I started working in the model industry, first with smaller agencies in Germany and then with agencies from London. During that time I visited Miami several times and now I live in Miami because I fell in love with the city. At the beginning of 2024 I took part in a beauty pageant ,Missfromgermany’ and meanwhile I am Miss Earth Germany 2024 and will represent Germany at the Miss Earth competition in the Phillipines at the end of october.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it wasn’t always an easy path, especially my studies and the decision not to work in this field cost me a lot of effort because I had to give up a lot of things, including a secure salary and a secure job and of course disappointing people. But I always had a strong will and was therefore always able to achieve everything I wanted. Even if many people often didn’t like my decisions and tried to bring me down because it. And of course like everything else it also involves a lot of hard work, but I think it was definitely worth it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I mainly work as a model and am currently also taking part in pageants such as ,Missfromgermany’ and Miss Earth at the end of October.
My work as a model is very varied and every day is different. It can happen that I have a photo shoot one day and have to prepare for it. But that also means that you have to work a lot on yourself, for example on your appearance or your physical and mental fitness. When I don’t have a photo shoot, I usually prepare for the pageants. That means I train a lot with my coach, including catwalk training (because every pageant has different requirements), posing or how to behave properly in interviews or in front of the camera and fans. Even if it doesn’t seem like it to many, being a ,Miss’ means much more than just looking good. It’s about your goals and the message you want to convey to others. It’s about being a role model and working as an ambassador. It’s actually very hard work to be a Miss, because it’s also about avoiding mistakes and representing your country as well as you can. So in both professions you are always in the spotlight.

What does success mean to you?
For me, success means achieving my goals and constantly working on myself to create a better version of myself every day. For me, success doesn’t mean making a lot of money, it’s more about making yourself happy and doing what you love.
