Today we’d like to introduce you to Shadia Castillo
Shadia , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My fitness journey started about 10 years ago when I suffered a meniscus lesion. Knowing I did not want to get surgery, the best next option was to build my legs ! I started going to the gym consistently and absolutely fell in love with the entire process. Having a place where I was able to destress, leave the worries of the world behind and focus on becoming a better me is what captivated me the most. Even though I loved working out , I was in a sales job for about 5 years. All I ever wanted to do and thought about was working out and spent my time researching different techniques, nutrition, body types and everything in between. That is when I created my fitness social media platform and shared my workouts, nutrition, physique and over all tried to motivate others to live an active life style. One day I woke up tired of waisting my time and energy doing something I did not love, I left my sales job and decided to pursue fitness full-time. I started accepting clients and slowly built my clientele. I worked along side my amazing coach who helped me in areas that I lacked and we worked together to achieve my body goals. I was introduced to the amazing Boxr gym in downtown Miami where I currently host a leg and glute focused class and where I exclusively train my clients. My social media platform has grown in the last few years and has made it possible for me to share my love for fitness to a broader audience, where I am able to motivate, inspire, teach and engage with others who share the same love for fitness as me. I am beyond grateful to be able to help others achieve their goals and motivate others to continue on their fitness journey !
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road but like anything in life , consistency is key . I faced personal struggles like doubting myself, overthinking and worried about others opinions of me. I did a lot of self reflection, aligned myself with my goals and really changed my mentality from ” I can’t ” to ” I will ” .

I am a personal fitness trainer, specializing in helping others build muscle or loos body fat. I mostly help women build bigger legs, glutes and overall lower body.I provide online personal training and customized workout programs for all body goals. I am most proud of how far I have come. It is easy to give up when things get hard but not for me, I am an example to myself of what happens when you don’t give up, you wake up everyday doing what you love the most ! One thing that sets me apart from others is my constant drive to want to be a better me and always working on improving . I never settle because I know there is so much more to achieve.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The fitness industry will continue to grow and expand and I love that there are more people every day wanting to get active and get healthy.
