Today we’d like to introduce you to Maya Nissim And Danielle Yerushalmi
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Funny story…we actually met at a bar and that’s where our story began! YA Write Branding is a local Fort Lauderdale creative studio with an all-inclusive approach to branding and marketing. Maya is a copywriter with a background in creative copywriting and content marketing. Danielle is a graphic and branding designer with 10+ years of design experience. We both had our independent creative companies, and when we met we merged our skills and services to offer an all-inclusive experience, where brands can get everything they need, tailored to their business.
We’ve both found through our individual processes, that copywriting and design go hand in hand, so merging these two important marketing services together allows for us to help brands as a whole and leads to a higher-quality branding and marketing.

Whether you’re an established business or starting something new, we can help you create a memorable impression on your target audiences through the process of strategic copywriting, branding, and design. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We met right before Covid happened, and started the business at a time when everything was shutting down. We had to stay at home and couldn’t meet in person to network or get our new business out into the world. We had to rely on Zoom meetings, social media, and the digital world to connect with brands who wanted to work with us.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a passion-driven team that help create branding, copywriting, and graphic design for unique brands. Some of our services include: packaging design, brand guidelines, social media content creation and marketing, SEO Blogging, Email Campaigns, digital marketing, press releases, just to name a few! We specialize in creating cohesive brand identities and providing all the tools needed for businesses to succeed.
We’re known in the Fort Lauderdale area for being an empowering, female creative duo. We’re most proud of working with Fort Lauderdale’s top entrepreneurs, from the hospitality industry to wellness, retail boutiques, and more! We believe that what sets us apart from others is our collaborative approach to copy and design.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Maya started her career in teaching and always had a love for writing and travel. She started a travel blog while teaching and living in London and that is what sparked her passion for copywriting and marketing. Danielle went to Florida State University to study Graphic Design. Once she graduated she started working in a corporate marketing company, where she felt she did not have enough creative freedom. She looked for another job and couldn’t find what she was looking for, and that’s when she started her own company!
