Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarina Abramowitz
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Remote Hero’s journey started during a pivotal time in my life. While pursuing my master’s degree in counseling psychology remotely, I found myself with some extra time and decided to help a few friends in Argentina connect with U.S. companies. Incredibly, within just five days, they landed jobs. That’s when I realized I had the skills and network to do this on a larger, more professional scale—and that’s how Remote Hero was born.
I’ve always loved connecting with people and helping them achieve their goals, and building Remote Hero allowed me to channel that passion into a business that empowers professionals while delivering real value to companies.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, especially in the beginning. One of the biggest challenges was figuring out how to structure the business. Coming from a background in psychology and recruitment, I had to learn the ins and outs of the business world—from managing finances to understanding the legal complexities of hiring remote talent across borders. Scaling the business efficiently while maintaining high standards for sourcing talent was also a learning curve.
On top of that, I’ve dealt with imposter syndrome along the way. Even though I’ve helped people and built a business I’m passionate about, there are still moments when I think, “I don’t really know what I’m doing.” It’s surprising to see how far Remote Hero has come, but that self-doubt can creep in at times. However, I’ve realized that this feeling is part of the journey. Building something meaningful doesn’t require being an expert from day one—it’s about learning, adapting, and pushing through the challenges, both internal and external.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
