Today we’d like to introduce you to Naresh Dammar
Hi Naresh, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My Name is Naresh Dammar, my stage name is “Vokallic”. My story starts in early June, where I started my music. I made all my songs off my phone and the first song i ever made was Wants & Needs, which I made on an app called GarageBand. I started off as a Soundcloud only artist but later on i started putting my music on platforms such as Apple Music & Spotify. At first i didn’t have the confidence to put my music out there but, a Friend of mine told me to put it out and after that everyone else started to gravitate and give me compliments, Because of this I have gained alot of confidence in myself to the point I’ve promoted my music in various ways even showing my family. I’ve just recently solidified myself onto building myself as the independent artist i am today and hoping people can take a minute or two to listen to my music and hear my sound.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wouldn’t say its been a smooth road because, I’ve gotten bumps along the way of making myself the person i am today. There was alot of stress because of my school life at first, along with certain hate i got because of what I’ve tried, and also my confidence wasn’t at its peak at the time.

I am an musical artist that makes music specializing in R&B, Rap, & Dancehall sound. I am proud of the way i’ve improved on my vocals and my confidence and the way i carry myself towards my goals. What sets me apart from others is my creativity and way of thinking, I always think of music as a piece of art meaning there’s different ways of showing who you are through your sound. Being me is looking at the world in a place that should be enjoyable and at peace doing what you love.
What does success mean to you?
In my eyes Success is living life in happiness doing what you love in gods image, varying from many things you do, everyone has a way of finding success you just got to work towards it wholeheartedly.
