Today we’d like to introduce you to Yonatan Levy
Hi Yonatan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have been DJing and producing house music for almost 10 years. It all started when I was 18 and attended my first rave. Growing up I was always into music, but never gravitated towards electronic music until attending Hard Summer Festival in LA. The energy from the crowd and swinging grooves were so infectious. It was love at first sight.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Anything worth fighting for is never going to be easy. I have been blessed to meet a lot of knowledgeable and kind people along this journey, but of course, there are always going to be obstacles. I think it’s important at times to zoom out and approach each challenge one step at a time.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My artist name is LEVY, and I am a house music DJ and Producer based in Miami, FL. I specialize in underground Deep House and host a monthly radio show on Bloop London Radio on the second Friday of each month from 4-5 PM ET.
I am known for creating ethereal moments on the dancefloor that allow partygoers to escape from reality for that moment in time and connect with those around them. I have released on record labels around the world, and have a few EP’s coming out at the end of this year and in the summer of 2025. I am extremely excited about the direction my career is headed!
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Don’t mimic popular trends or create art that you think will catapult you to the top. An artistic career must stem from your passion and love for the art. To create is to express your deepest feelings. Let the creativity run through you and let go of all boundaries.
