Check Out Rachelle Carrié’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachelle Carrié

Hi Rachelle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up, I vividly recall my parents instilling the importance of routine, structure, and a strong work ethic. They exemplified honesty to those around them and approached people with a human-centric perspective. At the time, I didn’t fully grasp these values.

Now, at 52, I’ve had to unlearn certain beliefs that no longer served me and embark on a new path. Our narratives can profoundly shape our lives for better or worse. My journey began as an educator, exploring how children think and why they behave as they do. This role brought me immense satisfaction as I learned to adopt simplicity and honesty similar to theirs while embracing a touch of whimsy.

Over time, this experience gave me numerous insightful moments that enriched my professional toolkit. However, life’s changes occasionally left me disheartened and disappointed by its circumstances.

Twenty-five years later—and after surviving two minor strokes—I found myself compelled to resign from teaching at 47 years old to reassess my entire life.
Additionally, one year prior, I amicably divorced; during the same period, George Floyd’s murder deeply affected our society.

These events catalyzed an identity shift, necessitating rediscovering who Rachelle truly is.
My journey took a significant turn when I attended a transformative workshop by Tony Robbins and enlisted the help of a Clarity Coach puntos.”

When I began my journey as an author, podcaster, and course creator, it wasn’t just about producing content or building an online community. It was a path to self-discovery that revealed who I truly am and taught me the importance of finding spaces where I’m genuinely celebrated.

Despite being naturally shy and introverted, I realized the necessity of embracing a growth mindset over a fixed one. Over the years, I’ve poured my thoughts into diaries—now journals—and lived by affirmations that became reminders on my phone. This deliberate practice brought peace to new opportunities and helped attract people who resonated with my true self.

Yes, I’ve faced obstacles meant to steer me away from my destiny, but navigating through them has solidified my real purpose today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t been easy, but through these challenges, I’ve understood who I am today. Being excluded from specific spaces, hearing people claim my fair skin would be an advantage, or witnessing my sister being told by a bus driver in Montreal that her money was too dirty for the city bus—all of this has shaped me, and I had to unlearn some narratives.

The racism and self-doubt were palpable, making the hurdles feel almost impossible to overcome. Having battled depression and embracing a holistic approach truly changed how I navigate life now.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Thank you for asking this thoughtful question and breaking it down so clearly.

As someone recovering from perfectionism and striving to balance a high-achieving life, I felt a deep calling to support other women navigating similar challenges. Becoming an executive coach for high-achieving women, particularly in helping them manage or overcome burnout, became my mission.

People often recognize me for my ability to distill complex information into easily digestible insights and truly listen to words and unspoken messages conveyed through body language.

Among my achievements, I am most proud of my healing journey. Understanding that this process demands time and effort was pivotal. My progress wouldn’t have been possible without my incredible support network: my wellness therapist, the administration staff at my French high school alma mater, our nine-year-old daughter, grieving counselor, clarity coach, sisters, father, and many extended family members who are too numerous to name individually but know their importance in my life.

What truly sets me apart is my ability to perceive underlying issues and foresee potential outcomes while exercising restraint from saying, “I told you so.” This capacity to read between the lines defines much of what I do.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
As a child, I was often shy and reserved. However, growing up, I discovered an immense passion for dance that transformed my life. Competing in dance competitions across Montreal became not just a hobby but a significant achievement for me; consistently winning gold medals provided validation that I was missing at home.

Thanks to my mother, who encouraged me to seek answers from our encyclopedia collection, books have always been my sanctuary. Those volumes became trusted friends, filling countless hours with discovery and learning.

Over time, my love for reading and research has only deepened—sometimes, I feel like I can delve into written words more quickly than express them aloud.
