Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Bush
Hi Christopher , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Started social media around 2020/21 just before the global pandemic just as a fun way to pass the time and next thing you know we started to go viral! I started my career in marine sciences and never thought id be filming my day to day life and adventures online but life has a funny way of pointing you in a different direction. Looking back its crazy to see how far we’ve grown our social media over the course of just 4 years, little strange watching people from all over the world fall in love with my beautiful doberman puppy Xodus, everywhere we go people ask us if we’re the well trained dog online lol All and all our new adventure of social media has helps us in tremendous ways.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
smooth? Absolutely not during our social media adventures We’ve gone through quite a few ups and downs, social media, as a whole can be an incredibly difficult, but also incredibly rewarding adventure and career. From having real world stalkers show up at our front door to having Florida wildlife and conservation ask us details of our animal care it’s been one hell of an adventure.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Ironically, on the professional side, I started my career as a marine scientist over at university here in Florida. I developed multiple different patents on trying to save the coral reef and different marine species. Utilizing our social media presence we were able to secure different fundings to help our private lab, save a few different Coral specimens and help research a species of mantis shrimp.
What makes you happy?
I’m a pretty adventurous person I would say anything that allows us to get up and go hiking through different national parks to traveling all over the world from New Zealand to Japan anything that allows us to get outside and have an adventure.
