Today we’d like to introduce you to Lena Mali
Hi Lena, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a multifaceted woman with vast life experience and a deep passion for personal growth, development, and human empowerment.
I am a woman who has faced many difficult events in life—the death of a best friend in early childhood, my parents’ divorce, emigration to the USA and moving within the country, the sudden death of my mother who came to help me with my daughter, the tragedy of September 11 in New York, financial struggles, the loss of a successful business, emotional abuse, and divorce. I have fallen many times and risen even more.
I know what it is like to be hurt and scared, and thanks to these experiences, I have learned to accept life in all its manifestations. I’ve learned to listen to my Soul, to feel joy in the moment, and to live with sincerity, openness, and vitality.
I know that I can get out of any mess by understanding why I need these experiences, reclaiming my personal power, and taking responsibility for myself. I also know how to be a loving support for others, and I see this as a huge source of my inner strength and faith.
The universe always sends me people who need my help and whose paths are similar to mine. I always listen to my inner voice, which never lets me down. Helping people in different cities and states, I can say that I see my purpose in this—helping others change their lives for the better and guiding them toward their best version of life. This is where I find true fulfillment.
In 1999, after winning the Green Card, I came to the USA from Kazakhstan with a complete lack of English knowledge, $9,000 to my name, and hope for a better life for myself and my children. At that time, I had a little daughter who was just 3.5 years old. The lack of help, support, and my unwavering belief in my own strength pulled me through difficult situations time and again. I changed many professions before discovering what truly brings me joy and pleasure.
After closing my business in 2014 and moving to Florida, I worked in well-known companies across the state, gaining tremendous experience in sales and marketing, human resource management, and personal and professional growth. For the last six years, I have been working in Boca Raton golf clubs, five of which I spent as an HR Administrator/International Program Coordinator. I am now mastering a new profession in marketing within the same field.
Recently, I received a diploma in transpersonal coaching from the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis. I studied with a well-known psychotherapist in Russia, candidate of philosophical sciences, president of the Russian Association of Transpersonal Psychology and Psychotherapy, pioneer of transpersonal studies in Russia Vladimir Maykov. During my studies, I mastered the methods of masters of transpersonal psychology and psychotherapy Stanislav Grof, Robert Dilts, Ken Wilber, Arnold Mindell, Stephen Gilligan and others. This is adds to my collection of other courses and continues education that I have completed.
I consult and conduct coaching for Russian-speaking clients all over the world, and can also consult English-speaking clients.
With my knowledge, I have repeatedly helped my colleagues and employees solve personal problems, improve relationships, and find confidence in difficult times. My vision often differs from generally accepted opinions, but it offers a deeper understanding of the current situation or problem.
My lifelong creative work and hobbies continue to help me grow and develop further. They resonate deeply with me and inspire amazing ideas that require implementation.
My motto: Accept everything that comes and happens in your life, let go with love, and continue to live radiating light and love!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There were a lot of them, a new country, a new culture, no knowledge of English, no American education and no opportunity to study, no close friends and parents, a minimum of money and household items at the beginning of life in the USA forced me to rummage through the trash to find used furniture and other things necessary for life.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have treated each of my jobs throughout my life professionally and studied their specifics as much as possible. My vast experience in sales, business management, and marketing, along with creating my own brands in the past, has prepared me for this stage of my life. I am now focused on developing expertise in marketing and graphic design for a golf club and creating successful projects.
What matters most to you?
I am a family-oriented person, and a healthy atmosphere in communication is crucial to me. Our entire life is built on interactions with each other. As a child, I did not witness this in my parents’ relationship, nor did I experience it in my own marriage. However, my lifelong dream has always been to create a happy family where members consistently support and help each other.. After my own divorce, I transformed my past experiences and developed healthy, friendly relationships with my own children. Now that they are adults, we share close and trusting bonds. Recently, I introduced a tradition of weekly family dinners where we have fun communicating, share news, celebrate successes, and provide support to one another.
