Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Kate
Hi Sara, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After contemplating whether the idea of turning my reading hobby into a writing career would be possible or not, I took the chance and wrote my first fictional mystery book four years ago. Once I took the risk and published it on Amazon, I continued writing more stories (specifically thrillers and mysteries since those two genres are what I enjoy reading and creating) while learning how to become a successful author and getting my books stocked in other store retailers besides Amazon, such as Barnes & Noble and Books-a-million.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Other than the everyday struggle of reaching readers through social media, promoting my books to the right audience, and making sales (as all authors and most small businesses do), the publishing process has been pretty smooth for me overall.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am known for writing psychological thriller and crime fiction mystery books. I create fast-paced fictional stories with tropes such as stalking, kidnapping, serial killers, and crime investigations.
While most of my books are standalone novels, my most recent releases include a two-book series titled: The Woman I Befriended & The Woman I want Dead. In the series, the main character watches her neighbor’s every move and believes she is a serial killer. To test out her theory, she continues to secretly observe her neighbor while befriending her at the same time and creating her own investigation instead of going to authorities.
My standalone novels are-
He Thought I was His: A stalker fast-paced thriller/dual point of view chapters with the victim (main character) and the stalker’s perspective.
Everything Led me to you: a new adult romantic crime fiction mystery thriller.
Zoey’s Memory: a light mystery set in a psych ward about mental health and grief.
Out of all my novels, I recommend readers who are new to my work to begin with HE THOUGHT I WAS HIS. Although, there is no required or specific order when it comes to picking which book to read first.

What matters most to me is getting my stories in the hands of readers who believe in me or simply want to take a chance on me. I write to create thrilling entertainment for those who enjoy solving mysteries and reading stories that keep them on the edge of their seat.
