Hi Beily, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Cuba and came to America when I was just 3 years old. Growing up, I often heard about the American dream, but it wasn’t until I had bills to pay that I truly understood its meaning. For ten years, I worked as a bartender, pouring drinks and sharing stories with customers. It was a job I loved, but when the pandemic hit, I lost my job and suddenly faced a harsh reality: I couldn’t rely on bartending as my only source of income.
During this challenging time, my fiancé and I (women relationship) decided to take a leap of faith and start a jewelry business. With no prior experience in social media or marketing, I took the reins and learned everything on my own. Through late nights and countless hours of trial and error, I managed to organically grow Lunoa Jewelry, and to my amazement, we went viral, reaching 19,000 followers. This experience not only boosted our business but also ignited a new passion for content creation, leading me to start creating content for other brands and pushing me into this exciting new career field.
Now, almost four years into this journey, our business continues to grow and evolve. There are still many lessons to learn, but I’m loving every moment of this adventure. My story is one of resilience, passion, and the belief that with hard work and dedication, dreams can indeed come true.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting Lunoa Jewelry wasn’t without its obstacles and challenges. One of the biggest hurdles was overcoming imposter syndrome. I often doubted my abilities and felt like I didn’t belong in the world of entrepreneurship. Restless nights became the norm as I struggled to teach myself photography and editing to create appealing content for our brand. There were countless hours of trial and error, and it was exhausting.
In the beginning, working for free was a harsh reality. When you start a business, you don’t start making money right away. There were times when it felt like all our hard work wasn’t paying off, and it was tough to stay motivated. On top of that, I worried constantly about what others were saying about me. Putting myself out there on social media was intimidating, especially with no prior knowledge of how to truly engage an audience. Our content was cringey at first, and I felt exposed and vulnerable.
Despite these challenges, we persevered. Every sleepless night, every moment of self-doubt, and every cringe-worthy post was a step forward in our journey. These experiences have shaped us and strengthened our resolve to continue growing and learning.

I’d love to share more about my work. At Lunoa Jewelry, our mission is to offer exquisite, high-quality jewelry that is accessible to everyone. We specialize in crafting pieces that not only enhance external beauty but also empower individuals to feel beautiful from within. Our collection features a variety of designs, from delicate everyday pieces to bold statement jewelry, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for quality.
My work in content creation involves constantly researching trends, exploring new audios, and understanding what keeps audiences engaged in each niche. Whether it’s for jewelry, fashion, or other industries, I tailor my content strategies to resonate with different audiences, ensuring each brand’s unique voice and message shine through.
Personally, what I’m most proud of is that I haven’t given up, even though there have been many times when I’ve wanted to. Building this business from the ground up, with no prior experience in social media or marketing, has been incredibly challenging. Yet, I taught myself everything I needed to know, and I managed to grow our TikTok following to 19,000 organically. This journey of learning and growth, despite the many obstacles, is something I hold dear.
I’m also known for my Disney obsession and my love for aesthetics and creativity. These passions influence my work and help me create a unique and engaging brand experience.
What sets me apart from others is my relentless drive and will to be successful. No matter how challenging the journey has been, I’ve never given up. There have been countless moments of doubt and difficulty, but my determination to succeed and my passion for what I do have always pushed me forward. This unwavering commitment to achieving my goals is what truly distinguishes me from others.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck has played a significant role in both my life and business. One of the most impactful moments of good luck was when our social media content for Lunoa Jewelry went viral. This unexpected virality brought a surge in followers and sales, helping us reach a much wider audience than we ever imagined.
On a personal level, I consider myself incredibly lucky to have met my girlfriend, who is now my fiancée. Her unwavering support and belief in me have been invaluable. She has helped me grow in ways I never thought possible and taught me to believe in myself, even when I doubted my abilities. Her presence in my life has been a true blessing, both personally and professionally.
