Today we’d like to introduce you to Cathy Petit
Hi Cathy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was planning my wedding and quickly became captivated when I had to book my florist. I’ve always been a fan of nature but never had a one on one with plants before. I started connecting with succulents and made my own wedding bouquet from scratch. I started hand picking every succulent and learning their name. Next thing I know I was making my own wedding favors and little did I know by making them this will turn into a passion. I then moved on to tropical plants and started learning and reading more about them. After almost 5 years these plants have become the best co worker’s anyone can ask for! Next thing you know I started taking on a couple of businesses in the medical field to providing interior plant design to provide a sense of greenery and therapeutic environment for patients. Providing a serene and supportive environment that promotes recovery. Now we do plant consultations, plant maintenance, indoor/outdoor plant service, interior design and custom plant gifts.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
it’s been a smooth road because this is my hobbie and not my full time yet.
We’ve been impressed with The cosmic plant girl, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We provide a full plant business service. We specialize in plant consultations, plant maintenance, indoor/outdoor plant service, plant interior design, office interior design and custom plant gifts. We strive to bring a sense of harmony through plants for the community.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was always around nature, always wanted to be outside with the trees or plants.
