From the beginning, my journey into e-commerce was far from conventional. It all began at a young age when I immersed myself in computers at Atari school, coding video games by the age of 10. After earning a degree in design and graphic art from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, my entrepreneurial drive led me into the digital realm of e-commerce over three decades ago. Although I was born and raised in New Jersey, I settled in Florida after completing my education, where I’ve remained ever since.
Without a traditional corporate background or formal business education, my path has been shaped by hands-on experience and a relentless determination to succeed. My breakthrough came with the launch of www.DecorateONE.com, a platform specializing in custom embroidery and printing on top apparel brands like Nike, OGIO, and Champion. What sets us apart is our customer-centric approach: simplifying the checkout process for single-item purchases while offering tiered discounts based on cart size, making our products more affordable and convenient. Over the years, DecorateONE has proudly served major clients such as Amazon, Facebook, Nikon, and Sherman Williams.
My expertise didn’t develop overnight. Since 1997, I’ve nurtured and expanded numerous online brands, refining my skills in branding, sales, marketing, and e-commerce development. In addition to building proprietary brands, I’ve formed strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Amazon, Groupon, Touch of Modern, and Etsy, significantly expanding my influence and reach.
Through my journey, I’ve accumulated wisdom that I now share with aspiring entrepreneurs and established businesses alike, guiding them toward sustainable growth. My deep understanding of e-commerce intricacies has been shaped by overcoming countless challenges and learning from both triumphs and setbacks.
Today, my journey stands as a testament to the transformative power of passion and resilience in the digital marketplace. As I continue to innovate and push boundaries, my impact resonates across the e-commerce landscape, inspiring others to forge their own paths to success.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The path to success is rarely smooth; if it were easy, everyone would effortlessly pursue their passions. Building DecorateONE.com, an online platform for custom embroidery and printing, has been particularly challenging. In the United States, there are fewer than fifteen company websites where customers can select any name-brand apparel, upload their logo, and complete their purchase without human interaction. Specifically, we are the only company offering single-item purchases, meeting a crucial market need for companies ordering samples or new employee apparel.
Creating this website posed numerous challenges. It features over 3,000,000 product images, 30 brands, 2,000 products, and 400,000 unique product variations in colors and sizes. Phase 1 alone required nearly a year of working over 100 hours per week. Now, we’re focused on Phase 2, rebuilding the entire site from scratch to enhance user experience using raw code. Each product brand connects through an API that maintains live inventory, automatically updating when products are out of stock.
Another significant obstacle was the closure of my 20-year-old online business due to trademark issues, a complex legal battle that consumed three years of my life. It was a daunting period where the light at the end of the tunnel often seemed unreachable, but I persisted with hope.
Throughout this journey, there were moments I wanted to quit. My server was hacked, deleting my code, and API integration posed months of challenges, hindering product displays on the website. Yet, I remained focused on the bigger picture, dedicating countless hours to overcoming each obstacle and progressing step by step.
The journey has been demanding, but my unwavering perseverance and dedication to the vision of DecorateONE.com have been crucial in overcoming these challenges.

My greatest passion is making something out of nothing, I have become a visionary in design and innovation, renowned for my groundbreaking creativity and relentless drive to push boundaries. With an unwavering dedication to my craft, I’ve carved out a distinctive niche in the industry through my transformative approach to graphic design and digital artistry.
Drawing on my extensive experience and acute attention to detail, I’m celebrated for my ability to transform abstract concepts into visually captivating realities. My expertise in digital artistry, coupled with advanced tools and technologies, allows me to create immersive online experiences that not only captivate users but also elevate brand presence.
What sets me apart is not just my technical proficiency but also my unwavering commitment to innovation and client satisfaction. I approach each project with a unique blend of artistic vision and strategic foresight, consistently delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My journey into the world of design and innovation began unexpectedly. Raised in a household where hard work was fundamental—my father tirelessly driving trucks to support our family—I initially saw myself following a similar path of relentless labor. I owe a profound debt of gratitude to my Dad for showing me firsthand what hard work looked like, leading by example every single day. However, life took a transformative turn when my family moved from Union to Millington, New Jersey, and I enrolled at Watchung Hills High School. Surrounded by peers from more affluent backgrounds, I was struck by their different mindset and aspirations.
It was during this pivotal time that I found my first mentor in David Jurist, the father of my close friends Ant, Al, and Chris. David, a successful printing company owner in New York City, unwittingly became my guide and inspiration. Our conversations during backyard barbecues in the East Hamptons and late-night talks in David’s kitchen were profoundly enlightening. His generosity, combined with his business acumen, ignited in me a desire to achieve similar success and to give back to others.
David Jurist’s mentorship was a turning point that empowered me to pursue my passion for design with unwavering determination. Today, I am recognized as a visionary in the field of digital artistry. My career is characterized by innovative thinking and a commitment to pushing creative boundaries. My work not only reflects technical excellence but also a deep-seated belief in the power of design to inspire and transform. My story is a testament to the profound impact of mentorship and the resilience needed to forge one’s own path in the world of design.
