Hi Oriane, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I come from a family who were all in fashion. I worked for my dad’s company in France for 2 years and the decided to create my own brand ORIANE 1986, focusing on trousers. Why Trousers ? its the most difficult piece of wardrobe to feel comfortable in but the most empowering when you finally find a pair of pants that you love! ORIANE 1986 combine the elegance of a Parisian Trouser with the comfort and practicality of a New York lifestyle! We design pants that feels like sweatpants
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think if its a smooth ride you might need to rethink your destination!!! lol!
Definitely not a smooth ride. Dealing with rejections, productions logistics, getting the right people to create the best team possible….
