Hi Lotus, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started making music a few years after I moved from North Carolina to Miami.
I stayed consistent with performing shows, releasing music, and connecting with fans over the years, achieving multiple notable accolades such as being featured in XXL Magazine, NBA2K, Sway In The Morning, & more. As I release new music & visuals, I plan to continue to excel in my craft and establish myself as an artist.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My path has been full of blood, sweat, and tears. I’ve sacrificed so much for so long for this music to come to fruition.
The journey has had a lot of ups and downs, and many lessons are still being learned to this day. It’s been a rollercoaster, but I’ve always been down for the ride and keep pushing until my purpose is achieved.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a hip-hop artist who’s just passionate about art and culture. I always try to express that through my music as much as possible. I’m a huge appreciator of lyricism and unique styles that are authentic.
I’m most proud of having the ability to create music that can resonate with people the same way that other artists’ music has resonated with me. What sets me apart from others is my ambition, my consistency, and staying true to myself.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I feel like there is no gain without risks. I’ve taken many risks. I see it as leaving it in God’s hands and following intuition. It shows hunger for what you’re striving for.
