Hi Marc, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
The story of Ghost Concierge began in 2016 during a trip to Miami. I was a concierge at Saint Martin in the Caribbean and was already working with an American clientele. We went to see a lawyer specializing in visas for expatriates being French. Ghost Concierge was created in January 2017. Initially, we sold private concierge subscriptions to professionals and individuals.
Over the years, we have evolved by adding more options to our offerings; we now have a community that enjoys benefits and networking opportunities. Our members can choose three different subscriptions and access the Ghostcard. A digital card offering exclusive and unlimited benefits at more than 1.8 Million hotels, car rentals, flights, brands, and much more around the world (up to 60% off), all thanks to our various partners.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We didn’t encounter any major difficulties during our journey; we had to adjust during the Covid pandemic, and we went 100% digital. But we always listen to our members. This remains our priority.
As you know, we’re big fans of Ghost Concierge. What can you tell our readers who might not be as familiar with the brand?
We offer a wide range of services on a daily basis, whether for professionals or individuals.
We are commissioned by our members to respond to all their problems, such as finding an emergency locksmith or plumber or booking a flight or a table at a restaurant at any time. Ghost-concierge’s role is to simplify our members’ lives while saving them money.
Thanks to our various partners, our members save on average $5,360 per year. Every day, they can go to the site and apply for discounts of up to 60% on travel, tickets, auto, electronics, and brands. They also have the possibility of accumulating cash back on their various purchases.
What changes do you expect to see in your work and the industry over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5 to 10 years, we hope to open an office on the West Coast to cover the entire United States.
We plan to expand in Canada and Europe.
We already have partners in many countries. We will surely have to open an office in Europe within five years. Digital knows no borders, and we take advantage of that!
