Today, we’d like to introduce you to Christine Perez-Gray.
Hi Christine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
Twenty years ago, I had a glimmer of hope that led me to a state of vulnerability so profound I did something differently than I ever had before… I asked for help.
I suffered from severe addiction and was at the end of the road. It was through the love of other amazing beings and the grace of the yoga practice that I am here!
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It definitely was not smooth whatsoever by any means, LOL.
I laugh at the hardships I faced in finding my way inward. I was my biggest demise so basically unlearning everything and starting from scratch as an adult. Struggle is an understatement, to say the least; however, I wouldn’t change a thing for the world.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Life brought me to this beautiful place where I have the privilege of leading others inward, too. I now own a yoga studio in West Pembroke Pines, where we do all the healing modalities and build a conscious community.
I am beyond proud of all the brave souls who stay on the path despite what the narrator tells them. My heart explodes with joy, watching them evolve. It’s one of the most enjoyable aspects of this work. I believe that the pain of my past sets me apart in helping others as I have been in a position most do not recover from and know the truth.
