Hi Andrea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The story begins with a love for chocolate and those little details, especially on those special occasions when my husband would always give me gifts that I adored, like chocolate-covered strawberries and fruit arrangements. He would give them to me, but in the end, we would always end up sharing them because he liked them too, haha. Since then, I had the idea of combining what my husband, Iván García, already had knowledge of (owning several food truck concepts for the past 6 years) with those details that we loved.
That’s how I proposed the idea of creating Kocoaworld, a Dessert Truck where people could find the best chocolate, combined with our favorite fruits and other exquisite desserts, becoming pioneers of fondue in the world of food trucks and also creating those edible arrangements that we love so much through a design as unique as the one we have, which has made us stand out so much.
Our goal with Kocoa is to provide people with the best experience in design, freshness, flavor, and originality through our three services. We offer three services: Our dessert truck, our setup on the side, and our spectacular edible arrangements. We’re almost celebrating our one-year anniversary in the market, and we’re truly delighted with the acceptance we’ve received. That’s how my husband Iván Gracia and I, Andrea Novita, combined experience with ideas and our love for chocolate and those special details to create Kocoaworld.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes, indeed, we’ve faced obstacles, especially because starting a new concept like fondue, entering the market with a completely different brand, and simultaneously introducing a product like fruit arrangements where there are already large and recognized companies aren’t easy. However, I believe that when you offer good service, accompanied by quality and constant effort, great things can gradually be achieved.
