Today, we’d like to introduce you to Nafeesah “Fosh” Terry.
Hi Nafeesah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey, on July 1st, 1997, by parents Belinda Terry and Bruce Terry, both are now deceased as a young girl who was always into cheer, dance, and sports.
I went to STEM Academy High School in NJ and was the Cheer Captain and the Softball Captain in my Senior year of high school. I furthered my education at Centenary University, earning a Bachelor of Science specializing in Finance and Marketing.
After graduating, I obtained a Real Estate license and worked as a real estate professional.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Had an early life of grief, lost my mother at 13 and lost my father at 21. Still pursuing my dream of becoming a supermodel, I didn’t let my unfortunate past stop me. I knew I had a mission and a success story to tell.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Worked as a real estate agent and marketing for five years while also working as a model. Have been featured in music videos with Future, Busta Rhymes, J Cole, Anderson Paak, and Megan The Stallion.
Featured in magazines such as Smooth Magazine, Playboy, Selin, and many more. Have made appearances in TV shows – MTV Wildin Out, Black in Crew, & Temptation Island. Has also worked as a ring girl for Top Rank Boxing.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Loves: Animals, seafood, the beach, house music, studying, helping others, adventure, interior design, cats, heels, handbags, working out, photography, and flowers.
Dislikes: Animal abusers, hunting, smoking.
