Today, we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Rauktys.
Hi Amanda, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Naples Compost was started on Earth Day, April 22, 2018! Our goal has always been to bring awareness and education about composting! That is still our main goal today, especially in schools.
Along with that, we offer easy composting services for all of SWFL. That includes residential services, commercial and business services, and event and wedding services. Since we started, we’ve added more services and have more products to offer our local communities!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning any business, in my opinion, is a hard one. Although rewarding, it’s hard! Some of our main struggles have been getting people to understand what composting is and just how beneficial it truly is for not only our environment but also us.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Although our name is Naples Compost, we offer services to way more than just Naples. We serve all of Collier County, all of Lee County, and all of Hendry County! We are mainly known for our composting pick-up services, but we offer much more!
We also do compost consulting, events of all sizes, compost education and programs for schools, and offer a few different products to help others with their plant-growing needs.
We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
We are a true family-run business, we are a family of 6 and all of our kids have helped with Naples Compost in some way!
