Life & Work with Teresa Korber

Today we’d like to introduce you to Teresa Korber.

Teresa Korber

Hi Teresa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
From a young age, I have been immersed in the world of creativity. Being raised by parents who were both accomplished artists, I found myself naturally following a path of artistic expression.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Pursuing a creative career is inherently going to be challenging. The primary struggle often lies in carving out time for creative endeavors. As entrepreneurs, we are tasked with managing numerous facets of our business, which can inadvertently lead to the marginalization of our core passion—creation itself.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a dedicated fine artist, my primary focus lies in creating original and specific commissioned pieces for a diverse clientele, including homeowners, interior designers, and corporate entities. Each project receives my undivided attention and the full extent of my artistic passion. Known for my ‘Heart Art’ signature series, I also engage in collaborative ventures with local restaurants, bringing vibrancy and life to their spaces.

My greatest fulfillment comes from contributing to non-profit organizations and community groups that make a significant impact. I am always eager to explore partnerships that align with community needs. What distinguishes me in the field is my distinctive style and my versatility in tailoring my art to fulfill client specifications.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am bilingual! Most people are surprised to know that I was raised in Puerto Rico as half of my family is from there.
