Today we’d like to introduce you to David Zilmer.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a musician/singer/songwriter/producer/artist. I started at about 11-12 years old with the guitar and singing songs that were popular at the time, I moved to writing my own material and getting bands together as well as teaching music lessons (guitar/bass/piano/vox). I currently play in a band called Tewahedo and we are launching our first video and single this year.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The struggles I have faced are having a consistent team that sees the vision the same as me as well as putting in the same amount of effort or work, the team, as well as the vision, is ever-evolving.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in songwriting as well as rhythm and lead guitar playing for all genres, I believe my special talent is getting people together who wouldn’t normally be in the same rooms and helping them find their roles to play. I’m most known for my playing around Miami and the Broward area with my band as well as solo.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
Luck has always been a factor yet I try not to base my success on luck, if you fix your mind on a goal anything positive will seem as good, and anything driving you away from that will be bad, things happen and things change, be ahead of it.
