My journey with ISL Agency has been a decade-long adventure that began when I joined the company shortly after its founding in 2013 by Alex Isern and Marc Segarra. Born in Mexico City and raised in Charlotte, NC, I found my passion for sports marketing and event management through the vibrant and diverse landscape of Charlotte.
Over the years, I’ve played an integral role in the growth of ISL Agency, contributing to the development and execution of more than 36 Barça Academy Camps nationwide. Additionally, I’ve been privileged to be part of the team orchestrating LaLiga Select’s 20 showcases per year across the country.
These experiences have not only honed my professional skills but have also allowed me to connect deeply with my love for soccer, travel, and diverse cuisines. My core values revolve around the importance of GOD, family, and friends, which have been the driving force behind my dedication to excellence in the dynamic and ever-evolving world of sports marketing.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Navigating the path with ISL Agency has been both rewarding and challenging. While our mission to assist European brands in establishing a foothold in America has seen considerable success, we’ve encountered hurdles along the way. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic presented a significant challenge, impacting the sports industry globally.
The restrictions and uncertainties brought about by the pandemic affected our operations, particularly in the organization of events such as Barça Academy Soccer Camps. Adapting to the changing landscape, implementing remote work structures, and rethinking our strategies were crucial steps in overcoming these obstacles.
Despite the difficulties, these experiences have made us more resilient and adaptable, reinforcing our commitment to providing top-notch services to our clients in the ever-evolving world of sports marketing.

I am proud to be a part of ISL Agency, a marketing company that originated in Barcelona and has since thrived in the USA. Our core focus lies in assisting European soccer brands in expanding and developing their presence in the American market. We specialize in creating targeted marketing strategies that resonate with the diverse audience in the USA, leveraging our understanding of both European football culture and the unique dynamics of the American sports landscape.
Our team takes pride in our ability to bridge the gap between continents, fostering connections and promoting European soccer with a tailored approach for the American audience. Our focus lies in creating inclusive and engaging experiences for players nationwide. With a record of 6,000 players across the nation, we’ve demonstrated our ability to reach a diverse audience and foster a sense of community within the gaming world.
We’re particularly proud of our achievements in cities like Seattle and Palo Alto, where we’ve broken records with 500 and 520 players respectively. These milestones not only highlight our success in attracting participants but also underscore the enthusiasm and passion for gaming within these communities.

Professionally, the shift to remote work highlighted the significance of effective communication and the need for businesses to have robust contingency plans in place.
