Born in Connecticut, grade school years in Wheaton, Illinois, and Mentor, Ohio. High school in Wilmington, Delaware.
While attending catholic schools my whole life, I learned giving back and helping the community was crucial to a happy life.
In my early years after college, my love for fashion granted me a fruitful career with Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale.
As a volunteer member of the Junior League, I enjoyed doing events to raise money for charities. In my 30s I decided to change my career from retail to nonprofit events while using my business skills to become a successful fundraiser for a charity called Kids in Distress. I eagerly became proficient in all areas of Fund Raising which led me to start my own Company to help all Charities. Charity Dynamics and Auctions.
While attending an all-girl high school, Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, Delaware, I learned the power of Teas. Formally trained at the Plaza New York and the Hotel DuPont Delaware, and visits to London Tea Houses, I am an expert in British Tea Service and History.
I integrate my fashion sense, my fundraising skills, and my background in tea service to raise money for charities. I am currently the only Pop Up Tea Service in South Florida. Tea By The Sea with Mimi.

Before concentrating her time and talents full time helping agencies within the non-profit industry, Mimi had a rewarding corporate experience of over 10 years as a manager and strategic buyer in the retail industry with notables such as Sak’s Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and Mark, Fore, and Strike Stores.

I am a proud mother of a very successful daughter, A stage three cancer survivor of 15 years, and a marriage of 22 years.
