Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Peri.
Rebecca, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey has been a heartfelt pursuit of well-being that started with a childhood filled with active adventures—bike rides, swimming, running, and sibling soccer matches. But my path into the world of Peridigmshift was driven by a different kind of transformation, one that resonates deeply with many.
I wasn’t on a quest to shed weight; I was on a mission to conquer self-doubt. Growing up as an incredibly skinny kid, I faced my share of body insecurities. Those moments spent scrutinizing myself in the mirror took a toll on my confidence.
It was when I looked around the gym and saw these remarkable women lifting weights, exuding strength, and sporting confident smiles that my transformation began. I was captivated by their empowerment and thought, “I want to be like them.”
Hours turned into days, days into months, and I poured my heart into the gym. I lifted weights, adopted a healthier way of eating, and soaked in wisdom from fellow fitness coaches. What was once a personal journey soon became an obsession—a passion that flowed through my veins.
Before embarking on this incredible journey with Peridigmshift, I was deeply engaged in the field of social work, providing behavior intervention therapy. I worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds grappling with mental, physical, and social health issues. What struck me was the heavy reliance on doctors and medications to ease their struggles.
Through dedication and effort, I watched my clients transform as they embraced physical activity and a healthier lifestyle. I saw firsthand the tremendous power of well-being and how it can elevate lives.
Today, as the founder of Peridigmshift, my mission is to help women all over the world rediscover their health and vitality, inside and out. It’s about motivating and empowering them to start their wellness journey and stay committed.
Our goal is to emphasize that health and wellness are not just about external appearances but about embracing life with vigor and joy.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey, much like life itself, has been far from a smooth road. It’s been marked by challenges that have tested my determination and resilience.
From a young age, I faced the uphill battle of supporting myself throughout college. The financial strain and the juggling act of balancing academics with work commitments were constant challenges. Yet, they instilled in me a relentless work ethic and an unwavering drive to create a better life for myself and my family.
At an early age, I found myself navigating the challenging waters of single motherhood. Being a young single mother brought its own unique set of trials and tribulations. It was a struggle to provide for my family while pursuing my dreams and ambitions.
Overcoming these hurdles required sacrifices, determination, and an unwavering belief in the importance of well-being and personal transformation. It was during these trying times that my passion for fitness and wellness began to take root. It wasn’t just about transforming my own life; it was about showing my family the strength that could be found within oneself.
Transitioning from my career as a social worker to venturing into the world of fitness and wellness was yet another challenge. I had to navigate unfamiliar territory, learning the intricacies of the fitness industry while building a brand that reflected my mission.
The path was far from smooth, and there were moments of doubt and uncertainty. However, it’s these very challenges that have defined my journey and the mission of Peridigmshift. They’ve reinforced my belief in the transformative power of health and wellness and the importance of helping others along their paths.
Through it all, I’ve learned that it’s not the absence of challenges but how we overcome them that defines us. My experiences have fueled my passion and commitment to empowering others to transform their lives, no matter the obstacles they face.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Peridigmshift?
I worked tirelessly to support myself throughout college, ultimately earning my BSW degree. Later, I pursued an MBA in Business Management, which deepened my understanding of the business world.
Peridigmshift is not just a business; it’s a reflection of my life’s journey and a testament to the transformative power of health and wellness. We specialize in offering a holistic approach to well-being, with a strong emphasis on personal transformation from the inside out.
What sets us apart from others is our unwavering commitment to personalized and sustainable wellness. We believe in addressing the big picture before delving into the details because it’s only when you step back that you can truly understand the ancillary aspects of life.
Our services are tailored to individual needs, recognizing that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to well-being. We offer physical fitness programs, nutritional guidance, mental wellness techniques, yoga and mindfulness practices, and lifestyle coaching. We create a supportive community where individuals can connect, share experiences, and motivate each other on their wellness journeys.
One thing I’m incredibly proud of brand-wise is our dedication to helping women rediscover their health, both internally and externally. We want our readers to know that we’re not just about appearance; we’re about empowerment, strength, and embracing life with vigor and joy.
At Peridigmshift, we believe that obstacles are opportunities, and challenges are stepping stones to growth. We want our brand to be a source of inspiration, motivating individuals to start their wellness journeys and stay committed to a healthier, happier life.
Do you have any advice for those just starting?
Certainly, for those who are just starting on their journeys, I have some valuable advice:
1. **Believe in Yourself:** The first and most important step is to believe in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals. Self-confidence is a powerful motivator.
2. **Set Clear Goals:** Define your goals and be specific about what you want to achieve. Having clear objectives will give you direction and purpose.
3. **Embrace Failure:** Don’t be afraid to fail. Failure is a natural part of any journey, and it’s where we often learn the most. Use setbacks as opportunities for growth.
4. **Seek Knowledge:** Never stop learning. Whether it’s through formal education, mentorship, or self-study, continuously seek knowledge and skills that can help you on your path.
5. **Stay Consistent:** Consistency is key to success. Commit to your goals and be persistent, even when faced with challenges or setbacks.
6. **Build a Support System:** Surround yourself with people who support and believe in you. Seek out mentors and peers who can provide guidance and encouragement.
7. **Take Care of Your Well-being:** Remember that your physical and mental health are essential. Prioritize self-care to stay energized and focused on your journey.
8. **Adapt and Evolve:** Be open to change and adapt to new circumstances. Your path may evolve, and that’s okay. Flexibility is a valuable trait.
9. **Celebrate Small Wins:** Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may seem. It’s essential to recognize your progress along the way.
10. **Give Back:** As you progress, consider how you can give back to others. Sharing your knowledge and experiences can be incredibly fulfilling and can help others on their journeys.
Looking back, I wish I had known that the challenges and setbacks I faced were opportunities for growth and learning. I would tell my younger self not to be discouraged by obstacles but to embrace them as stepping stones on the path to success.
Remember that every journey is unique, and there is no one right way to achieve your goals. Stay true to yourself, stay determined, and keep moving forward, even when the path ahead seems uncertain.
