Hi Trevor, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
During the initial two decades of my life, I dedicated myself entirely to baseball. My journey progressed from high school varsity to Division 1, culminating in being drafted to play professionally for the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.
Before venturing into professional baseball, I achieved a Summa Cum Laude distinction for my Bachelor’s in Business Management. Following two full seasons with the Arizona Diamondbacks, I reflected on my life goals. It became apparent that leveraging my degree would pave the way for a professional business career.
My journey commenced at NCSA (Next College Student Athlete) as a Senior Recruiting Coordinator. In this role, I assisted high school athletes nationwide in securing sports scholarships for college.
After a fruitful two-year tenure at NCSA, I embraced a new challenge at IMG Academy, assuming the role of Program Manager for IMG Academy+. Presently, I contribute to connecting athletes globally with IMG Academy+ Mental Performance and Nutrition Coaches. This unique coaching is often scarce, but IMG Academy+ provides access to athletes worldwide through online connections.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Success is never a straightforward journey; it’s more like a winding road. Throughout my baseball and business career, I’ve encountered numerous skeptics. It’s been a constant battle to prove them wrong and, at times, to distance myself from those who don’t share my mindset.
The key advice I can offer is that when faced with doubters, it’s crucial to remove people from your life who don’t align with your morals, ethics, and values. Your circle defines you, so surround yourself with individuals who resonate with your principles.

One cherished childhood memory that tugs at my emotions is when, at the age of 4, I discovered my love for baseball. Little did I know that this game would leave an indelible mark on my life, imparting invaluable life lessons.
Baseball became a teacher, guiding me through the intricacies of building personal relationships, navigating adversity, and bolstering my self-confidence in every endeavor. It’s incredible how a childhood passion can shape one’s character and journey in such profound ways.
