Hidden Gems: Meet Brandon Richardson of Urban Smoke

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Richardson.

Brandon Richardson

Hi Brandon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in the military, traveling the world while I served. But end up meeting different individuals who later would become important people in life. As time continued, I developed a good strong friendship with other CEOs, Founders, and entrepreneurs.

I supported their dreams and visions, and as of now social media has become a big marketing tool for businesses. While networking throughout the nightlife, I have been able to get recognition through social media from different celebrities and other big-name establishments.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has its ups and downs. Nothing wasn’t a smooth transition, business was always word of mouth.

I never made it an official business until one of my friends asked me, why I didn’t make this into business. This is something you love, and you have a passion for creating opportunities so why not.. make this one?

As you know, we’re big fans of Urban Smoke Miami, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
What should you know about my business? We are a hookah bar catering service company. We specialize in different celebrations, such as promotions, birthdays, weddings, guys & girls trips, and just occasionally the nightlife scene.

We are set apart from the rest of the competition by a mile we don’t have outrageous prices, and our service is the top tier for every loyal customer. I take pride in my company as it is veteran-based.

What matters most to you?
Great service. Good customer service skills. Because the customers and our clients are what keep this business running forward.

Without mention-ship from my big brother Bryant McKinnie, my parents (William & Bernice), Jarrett, and the love with huge support from my friends. Along with good business and good service skills towards people, the company will not be where it is at now. I love building a good relationships with our new customers and clients. We live off of good word of mouth, social media promo, and loyal customers who love to support real black veteran owned businesses.
