Meet Kopi Craftwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kopi Craftwork.

Kopi Craftwork

Hi Kopi, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I’ve always had a passion for creating something new, something unique ever since I was a kid. I used to spend lots of time with my dad in his garage, learning things and building stuff.

When I moved to America, I thought I had to follow my dreams and put all the ideas in my head into action. I love expressing my creativity through the things I build, and I’m excited to see what I’ll create in the future.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s never an easy and smooth road when you do everything by yourself.

My first and main difficulty was the language. When came to America, my English was absolutely zero, so communication was tough… somehow always found a way, and solve problems.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I believe that my imagination, inspiration, and creativity set me apart from others. While there are many talented artists all over the world, not all of them have the skills to bring their ideas to life.

I do stand proudly behind my work and the attention to detail that I put into it. Many custom bike builders close attention to the small details, but I believe that’s what makes my work stand out. It’s not easy, but the motivation and recognition that comes with it make it all worth it.

Do you have any advice for those just starting?
The short answer is, never afraid to work, never afraid to take action, and create! It’s in our mind. Have to believe in ourselves, even when we start losing faith, and there is a slight opportunity to step forward, have to make those steps.

Sometimes when come up with impossible ideas, and start to think, I need another way to do that work, or that part, but again and again put my mind to it, and keep forcing myself to go with the “impossible” but original idea. And parts by parts, piece by piece, put together that project.
