Hi Alexandria, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
For years women in my family & myself have suffered from traction alopecia, thinning edges, and balding due to lack of nutrition, medications, chemo & not properly taking care of the hair.
I first got in the game in 2018 “A Qweens Crown” in hopes of helping women & children to fall in love with their hair again & build their confidence back up. But along the way I have lost sight of my true passion which is making women feel. B e a u t I f u l.
In 2021, I opened my first salon “House of Press”. A natural haircare salon that focuses on organic fruit scalp treatments that aid severe scalp issues and infections. With that, I have created my own “HP Haircare” line that target, yeast on the scalp, hypothyroidism, seborrheic eczema & psoriasis.
As a woman, our hair is our crown & glory. When we look good the “bad bi$ch” in us is immediately activated ok. Nothing can stop us when our hair is slayy.
And that’s the goal. I have dedicated my life to helping women around the world gain their confidence back by providing high-quality medical-grade wigs that their insurance company will pay for with little to no out-of-pocket expenses.
I’m currently partnering with the US Military, the American Hair Loss Association, the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, the Children’s Alopecia Project, and the Bald Truth & the Rapunzel Project. As well as: hospitals, nursing homes, cancer centers, women& children empowerment groups & different organizations to provide you all with the best service possible.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Far from easy I encountered homelessness with 2 kids, while in the middle of a pandemic in 2021.
I attended 4 cosmos schools before finishing I partnered with someone to get the house of press salon but in the middle of production we split and I had to finish and house of press salon by myself.

I’m known as the silk press goddess and color queen in Jacksonville, FL. I specialize in natural hair by aiding scalp issues holistically with organic fruits and products.
What sets me apart is my authenticity and the love and dedication I have for my clients to make them feel beautiful.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
For those just starting… find your passion. Study your passion. Do not rush your process.
