Today we’d like to introduce you to Lekita Logan Range.

Hi Lekita, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my journey in 2010 when I established Live N Lavish Events LLC while attending the University of Central Florida. My biggest struggle, in the beginning, was finding a mentor to guide me.

As I made mistakes that could have been avoided if I’d had someone to give me advice on how to make wise and profitable decisions within the event industry. Now, Live n Lavish Events is a full-service event management company specializing in wedding planning, event management, floral design, and décor. Our dedicated team takes pride in offering a comprehensive range of lavish services and creating unforgettable experiences for our lavish clients. We serve Broward County, Martin County, Miami-Dade County, Palm Beach County, and surrounding areas, creating stunning and all-inclusive weddings and special events that captivate diverse audiences.

We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This road has not always been smooth. With me founding my business at a young age there were many obstacles I had to overcome ranging from mindset to financial constraints. Regardless of how much research I conducted, there is nothing like getting hands-on experience. I had to learn that although support & mentorship is important; everyone around you does not always want what’s best for you. Therefore, be wise about who you connect with and allow into your space.

Other struggles revolved around finances. I was not well educated about the different financial aid & grant assistance programs that were available for me and other business owners similar to me at that time. Therefore, I moved forward the only way I knew how and ground. When I first started, I remember going from business to business just to see how I could assist them. Eventually, my hard work begin to pay off. However, there were several days, even weeks where I invested several hours working & marketing my services and brought home $0. Yes, it was discouraging at times but I did not give up.

I knew that my HEAVENLY FATHER had “Bigger & Greater” things in store for me, and I kept going.

To help brand me I utilized some of the money I made at my part-time to invest in my business.

Overall, although the beginning of my journey was not all that I thought it would be, I would not change it because it is a part of my story now.

However, I highly recommend that all entrepreneurs & event professionals invest in themselves, a mentor & a coach.

My past experiences motivated me to launch my Lavish Branding Academy and serve as a mentor & business branding coach to other overwhelmed wedding & event professionals. As I understand what it is like to be in similar situations that our wedding & event professionals face within the industry.

It involves a meticulous approach to every aspect of the planning and execution process, from the initial consultation to the final moments of the event.

Attention to detail means leaving no stone unturned and considering even the smallest elements that contribute to the overall experience. It includes carefully selecting the right decor, coordinating color schemes, ensuring flawless logistics, curating exquisite floral arrangements, and orchestrating seamless transitions between different event components.
