Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriel & Veronica Baldassini.
Gabriel & Veronica, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We started with BC Handbags Wholesale back in 2006 here in Miami. Like any company, it wasn’t easy at the beginning, but Veronica and I are a great team, and little by little we grew it into what it has become today. A recognizable brand in some of the biggest markets across cities like New York, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Atlanta.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like all companies, we faced some challenges along the way. Veronica’s background was not in the manufacturing and wholesale division. There was a big learning curve for us that we had to overcome and there is still a lot we learn on a day-to-day basis to keep the business growing.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are BC Handbags a handbag manufacturer and wholesaler based in Miami. We are owned by a husband and wife team (Gabriel & Veronica Baldassini) that immigrated from Argentina in 2001 with their three daughters.
Our collections are designed and brought to life by Veronica with the goal of creating functional pieces that are in line with today’s fashion and up-and-coming trends. We strongly believe that there is an item for everyone in each of our collections.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
We learned that we cannot be afraid. We need to accept the hand that we have been dealt, assess the situations, take the proper precautions, handle the situations to the best of our abilities, always strive to move forward, and better ourselves and BC Handbags each day.
