Hi Luan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
Born in Miami, raised in Brazil, and moved back to South Florida in 2010 to play soccer for university. Have been doing Crossfit and coaching for the past 10 years. I recently join the biggest Crossfit community with 14 locations gym called Vogue Fitness in Abu Dhabi, UAE the Emirates. Previously owned a gym for 3 years in Deerfield Beach called CrossFit Deerfield Beach with my partner and recently sold my part to move to the UAE to grow my coaching career, have been here for the past 3 months.
I have also a mentoring company where I mentor and help gym owners and coaches how to be better and more successful in seeking excellence in the area. Most of my clients are still in South Florida where we meet monthly and some weekly for mentorship. With 10 years of experience and around over 5 different gyms with experience of being in 3 different countries, I now share some of my knowledge with others and help them go to the next level.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely a challenging road and had some struggles.
Being away from family and friends has been one of the biggest ones. Also leaving communities that I love and built has been very emotional, but needed in order to expand my coaching career.

However, along with his achievements, I have encountered his fair share of obstacles.
