Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Gordon.
Hi Kimberly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I am Private Chef in Florida. I come from a big family of Southern & Creole cooks. I left my Corporate America career to pursue my passion for cooking. I attended the University of South Florida for my Bachelor’s in Communication and Valencia College for Culinary Management. I started my own catering business in 2013 called Good Enuf 2 Eat Catering. Since then I have had the honor of cooking for professional athletes in the NBA, NFL, and PGA.
I have also cooked for actors, comedians, & reality tv stars. In 2015, I became a part of #TeamChefRLI working under Chef Richard Ingraham, Dwayne Wade’s Private Chef. I was also awarded #1 Nutritional Counselor in Orlando for 2015-19 by Thumbtack.
In 2020, I was selected to be one of the premier Chefs to cook in the NBA Bubble. I have flown across the nation to cater events for exclusive clientele. I am living in my purpose & remain humbled by my growth. The sky isn’t limited…the stars are!
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There is no smooth road to success & high achievement…but with proper preparation & countless hours of studying and practicing my skill, I have achieved amazing feet in a very short time!
This industry is saturated with Chefs who can offer endless variations of dining so it’s essential to find a niche only YOU can provide & let that set you apart.

I specialize in Asian cuisine….especially Thai! I love all of the flavor combinations & the subtle simplicity it offers!

Entrepreneurship is the biggest risk/gamble you can take, especially with a family! When I left my corporate career, I was a bit hesitant but I ultimately knew I wanted to truly enjoy what I did for a living! I haven’t looked back since…
