Hi there, I’m Melanie! I’m a proud female and Latina CEO and Founder of Events by Melanie.
I truly fell in love with the wedding industry when I got married and wanted to give couples the best experience I had! Given my expertise in corporate events and nonprofit organizations for over 7 years, plus having my Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, I knew I wanted to create a company that not only embodies excellent customer service but gives engaged couples an incredible stress-free experience.
As of today, we have offered our wedding planning services across the United States, from Miami to New York City.
We are so proud to say we have a 100% client satisfaction rate and truly make a couple’s wedding vision become a reality!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The beautiful thing about weddings is that every single one is so different and never a dull moment! We communicate with our couples a minimum of a month before their wedding date no matter the service.
We try to iron out all the details with vendors beforehand to avoid any obstacles that day may arise. The day of the wedding can bring some obstacles, but communication is key, and having a plan b (such as weather plans) is always crucial to have.

Events by Melanie is a full event planning service that specializes in weddings and day-of coordination.
Our team is dedicated to every detail to ensure we execute your wedding vision no matter the size. Every wedding is unique in its own special way, and we do everything possible to guarantee an incredible experience for our couples and their guests!
Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I always say being an entrepreneur is the biggest risk someone can do. Starting a business from scratch is risky and many challenges come with it.
However, being an entrepreneur can also mean you become your own boss, make your own income, and can scale more than you can imagine. If you have a passion and a goal, taking that risk in starting your own business may be the most rewarding outcome.
