Hi Vanessa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
“I will start from scratch as many times as necessary”. My name is Vanessa Gollini, I was born in Venezuela, and I am a journalist by profession, which I have worked for several years, I love audiovisual communication, and it will always be my passion. During my professional experience, I was marked by the time that I was involved with the world of Real Estate and Decoration; At that time, between 2003 and 2014, we had a Magazine dedicated to promoting new real estate developments and decoration stores, for which the design part caught my attention.
As a result, I created a television program called Inmobilia.com. I was the producer and host of my audiovisual tv show, this is where I mixed my passion for my career and my love for interior design. This is how Decopareti was born, in 2014 I started offering 3D decorative panels, I loved the way the walls stand out with the design of this material, I launched the Brand at a Home Expo Show in my city, which was positive, I had great feedback from the public and from this moment Decopareti started.
I decided to move from Venezuela to Nicaragua, I had to start again from scratch, this time I did it with Decopareti Nicaragua, manufacturing the Bean Bags by hand, for 2 years we create different styles and models, although at this time I did not work on an interior design I firmly believed that the Decopareti brand could not let it lose, so I promoted it, achieving great acceptance for this new adventure.
If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am a creative, dreamy, patient person, in constant movement, with a broad sense of adaptation, and with the determination to see my own business grow. That is why, upon coming to the United States, a few years ago, I was not limited by the desire to start over and develop Decopareti in this country. If there is one thing that I should be thankful for in life, it is that it puts me at the right time with the right people, achieving synergy that is not an easy task. Nowadays Decopareti is growing in Miami, with the design and decoration on walls.
I started in Miami in October 2021, my first attempt was to bring beautiful and innovative lamps to the United States, after a few months I gave up on the idea of that product and went back to my roots looking for the best material for decoration, and I got the Slat Wood Panels I found it surprising how beautiful the walls decorated with this material look, the style and elegance with which it transforms spaces, I fell in love with this product. This is how I make myself known today, we transform your white walls into walls with the WOW factor that we all look for in our homes.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If we talk about challenges that I had when I was starting the company, I would say that the main one was knowing the market, Miami is a family city, where Latinos feel at home, this was my starting point, entering the Latino market has been a work of slow pace, stepping firmly to achieve solid results.
From another point of view, coming to a city where you don’t know anyone, creating business relationships, and not knowing the culture in general, is challenging. At this point my journalism side stands out, I just started to do some research, planning, investigating, and talking and it helped me understand this new market. I would say that my next challenge is serving the American public.

Decopareti is a company that is dedicated to transforming spaces, we design, plan, and execute projects with great professionalism to achieve the goals ( and even go beyond) of our clients. We specialize in covering the walls, we think that it is an important point that complements the decoration of the house. For example, the living room is the favorite space where the family gets together and stays most of the time, that’s where we focus; although we decorate throughout the home. It should be noted that we also attempt them at commercial businesses and offices.
Our main product is the Slat wood Panels, it is a system of panels that cover the walls simulating natural wood, Our product is made of a WPC wood and plastic compound, easy to install, perfect for interior spaces, with a diversity of colors, from the lightest wood to darkest, even with colors of shades of gray, black, gold, white, even blue, It has a wide variety of styles and colors. We have panels with thin, thick, shallow, curved, and smooth slats, ideal for playing with design.
When the client contacts us and exposes their ideas, from there we start to develop a complete project, but not before visiting their home. Together with the client, we plan his wishes and we base ourselves on those ideas, to project style, color, and furniture suitable for the environment; even a combination of wallpaper and lighting is never lacking, it is for them that we have a team of associated companies that accompany us in all the stages of the project.
What makes us successful is that we take care of the details, in addition to personalized attention, we strive to offer a good service, accompany our client in all stages of the project and fully comply with the scheduled times. I could say that the best part of my job is seeing the faces of the clients at the moment of the end of the project, that is the moment that makes us proud, seeing the smile and illusion of seeing their homes with our special seal.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Every night when I go to bed I start thinking about the next project we are coming up with. I think about every detail, and when I fall asleep I can dream about the project and the next day I can arrive at the job site with a clear idea of how we are going to do the installation….. And coffee! I can not start my day without coffee!!!
