Community Highlights: Meet Carina Kemelmajer of Kega Consulting Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carina Kemelmajer.

Carina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I  started as a very young women’s clothes manufacturer in Buenos Aires,  Argentina. My mother was a wholesale producer.  In order to earn my own money at the age of 15, I made children’s designs with the remaining fabric cuts.  I also created bed covers patchwork with fleece left on the floor from the cuts of other clothes.   Was a very funny experience.

I studied at a private fashion design academy, and thanks to this versatile practice  I learned a lot about Fashion production, how to use industrial cutting and sewing machines and all things related to fashion design.
At 21 years old, I opened my own company and started selling wholesale clothing to big companies.
Circumstances made my work change to different fields and moved with my family to Montevideo where we stayed for ten years managing a  cellular technology company. ( America Móvil)
Spontaneously during Pandemia, I started my first art collection named “Soul Collection .  As soon as I uploaded one work on social media, I sold it immediately,  which was fabulous since it inspired me to continue.
I don’t have a  defined style, but I like it that way. I don’t like to pigeonhole myself; I paint what comes out instinctively.   My personality is reflected in my job.  Certainly,  I try to make my works explosive and vibrant and although I give them my particular point of view, each observer can feel a different sensation and interpretation. That is why I like abstract art,  it is up to the imagination of each one.
We all face challenges, but looking forward,  would you describe it as a  smooth road?
Not at all. It was difficult but intensive. The first thing was the decision to start painting, even if I didn’t have enough technical knowledge! Another issue is not having a large space to paint. I like oversized work and managing in my house or office, in which I don’t have enough space, is quite an odyssey.

The important thing is not to give up. I will find the right place.

The main thing is not to give up. Now, there is an open road to walk through.
Besides my art, I have a company where I provide advice and assistance related to Real Estate in Florida.  Involves the search, selection, and purchase of properties with an interesting return on investment. I also offer the advantage of taking care of the restoration and administration,  if needed.  Sometimes it’s convenient to face some improvements to optimize the income either in rental or sale. I take care of the whole process personally.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been obstacles along the way. The first is not having a large space to paint. I like oversized work and managing in my house or office, in which I don’t have enough space, is quite an odyssey.

The service that I provide involves the search, selection, and purchase of Real Estate with an interesting return on investment. I offer the advantage of taking care of the restoration that must be made to the house and also its administration if necessary. Sometimes is convenient just to do some improvements to your rental or sale property.

We take care of absolutely everything, and what I can’t do I subcontract. It is ideal for foreign investors who do not reside in the country or simply do not have time to deal with all the related things involved.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have a respectful ethical concept. I honestly look for the customer’s best convenience. Taking that responsibility as if it were my assets.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I am very considerate, hard worker, honest, and friendly.

I like to work harmoniously with my clients and always prioritize their benefits. I have the quality of seeing properties instinctively and thanks to my aesthetic vision I see in advance which changes could be made and the approximate costs related.
