Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Ramos.
Hi Stephanie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I always loved to write. As a teen, I began writing stories and scenes as a hobby and considered it one of my creative outlets. And, while I still write creatively on the side, as a professional, I get to help businesses- including local businesses- communicate effectively with their communities. I work with them to write language for their websites, blog articles, newsletters, email campaigns, and more.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely! There were challenges, especially when I got started. For starters, while not unique, imposter syndrome is a real thing! It gets to you at some point when you constantly hear that you’re not good enough, even when you work hard. So, I had to take time in personal development to understand that I am good at what I do and deserve to be where I am.
Today we are all competing for the same positions and promotions. But as an entrepreneur, it became a different ball game altogether. There is no room for lazy days, vacations, or sick time. At least not in the beginning. Also, depending on your personality, becoming an overachiever and workaholic is possible, so it is important to know when to shut the computer down for the day. It is very easy to become obsessed.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I officially started Diana Alexia Creations (DAC) after working as a self-employed for a time. I realized that it would make a lot of sense to create a website and provide services to clients. And while I did not expect it, I started my own online digital marketing agency just like that.
DAC is a digital marketing agency, and most of our clients are those that need an additional hand to produce written content to support their marketing strategies. Writing quality pieces takes time and skill. Something that not all businesses have the time to dedicate without facing a shortcoming in another area. At DAC, we offer writing services from newsletters, blog articles, website content, email marketing, social media strategies, and more. Also, since there is an influx of Amazon FBA sellers and real estate listings DAC focuses on writing those descriptions for clients–and those can be pretty fun!
