Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Soler.
Hi Christian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
We believed there was a need for a nice, spacious, clean, and well-equipped space where foodpreneurs could develop their products and grow. After many months of brainstorming, we decided to for Miami Kitchen Incubator with one goal in mind help food businesses get to the next level. Anything from bakers, to meal plan services, and caterers to package food producers, we needed to give them a well-rounded space that covered all their production, storage, and packing needs.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
After a couple of years of developing the business and looking for the right facility, we finally open our kitchen doors only to find a pandemic taking the world like storm. COVID definitively set us back, however by reassuring people that MKI was a safe place to work following strict COVID prevention guidelines, we quickly became a stepping stone for new entrepreneurs and small businesses.
We’ve been impressed with Miami Kitchen Incubator, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We pride ourselves in having the cleanest, well-kept, and well-equipped kitchen incubator in Miami. When companies come to MKI they don’t only get a state-of-the-art kitchen facility, but they also get guidance and resources to take their food business to the next level.
We are now very close to opening MKI Distribution. An initiative that will allow our members’ products to reach new markets. With cold/frozen and dry storage, right in the facility where they produce, a fleet of trucks for distribution, and a wide range of stores to showcase and sell their products, we will help our members generate more revenue by placing their products in front of new potential customers.
What were you like growing up?
I was always a creative and active child with a passion for music and sports. Growing up with two older brothers there was always something to do. I was known as the outgoing extroverted kid and even though I liked making friends I often would retrieve to myself and liked going around as a lone ranger.
