Today we’d like to introduce you to Casey Davis.
Hi Casey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started taking writing serious when I got to college. I really enjoyed writing short stories. I quickly started writing novels and scripts which led me to create my first comic book.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge is time. Being an adult means you have responsibilities that are greater than yourself. You have to balance life in order to achieve what you want
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I write mostly fantasy-driven work. I’m known for creating a story that has black creators however the story isn’t about them being black. I want to continue to create stories with representation that doesn’t follow the narrative.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Greatness if subjective and objective at the same time. Remember that and you’ll understand how to view life.
