Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Sahar.
Hi Adriana, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I always wanted to be a fashion designer since I was a little girl. I have always had so much drive k motivation. I was inspire by the word no, or the words “You Can’t” it really created something inside me that was unstoppable. I started my business in my parent’s garage, sewing every night on my brother home machine. Inviting models to come over & take photos. I would make the most ridiculous pieces in there. I loved every second of it. Sometime after that, I got a studio space where I kept working hard to reach my dreams. I started making the LV bras which were a hit. All the top models wanted one. I started doing NyFW, opened my Los Angeles store location as well which was open for 3 years. I am now taking time for myself as I’ve been venturing out on a new journey where I find myself doing a lot of healing & growth.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There has definitely been a lot of challenges & things I wish I knew before I started my brand. It definitely has not been easy and it’s been struggles after struggle but I keep going.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a fashion designer and my best work would be known for making crazy, sexy cool clothing to fit any body type.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Loud, crazy always getting into trouble. Super stylish& creative. I was the girl always lending clothes out and doing my friends’ makeup.
