Inspiring Conversations with Sandra Rathe of The Sandra Rathe Team

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sandra Rathe. 

Hi Sandra, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I had been working in the accounting/controller field until I had my 3rd child. At that time, I stopped working to raise my kids and do charity work. Once they were all in school, I needed to do something more with my time so I thought I could get into property management since I already was managing our own weekly rental properties. I found that not many places wanted to get involved with property management in the west part of Broward so I decided to give buying and selling real estate a try. I approached real estate as I had all the corporate and professional careers – as a business not as just a series of sales. I quickly set up processes and procedures and created systems that made a repeatable experience. I gave every client that special attention that they deserved and quickly grew due to my great customer focus and detailed approach. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I think that every day we face challenges in the real estate world. Every transaction is a little different and we are constantly learning and growing. I welcome the challenges and thrive in that environment. Every challenge that we face helps us to grow and become better at what we do. 

As you know, we’re big fans of The Sandra Rathe Team. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I think the most important thing about our business is that we truly do care about our clients and are always looking to make their real estate experience special and positive. We want to be their realtor for life. We are not in it for a quick sale, we are in it for the relationship and for a long-term friendship. We encourage our clients to call us with their questions and their needs. We want to be the person that they go to for help or recommendations. We also never back down from a challenge. When we have a buyer or seller who needs to make a move but have a difficult situation, we roll up our sleeves and get to work finding a great solution for them. We pride ourselves on our ability to come up with creative solutions to the most challenging situations. 

What’s next?
For the future, we plan to continue to grow and to offer the best possible service to our clients. We look forward to throwing more appreciation events to show our clients how much we love them. We want to be that realtor that you trust and turn to for years to come.
